Are you looking for 1:1 help? You can receive more in depth guidance with private sessions and classes which I can offer to you.
These sessions can include:
- An opportunity to improve your conversational English.
- Learning proper grammar with different techniques.
- Proofreading of documents or websites.
- Trips around Montreal carrying on English conversation.
- Helping you adjust to Canadian customs and way of life here in Montreal.
Sessions can be offered in person at a common meeting place or through Skype. Helping and talking with foreigners like yourself and learning about your country and culture is what I love and enjoy.
Proven Experience
As an English language specialist I am passionate about helping immigrants to improve their English speaking and grammar skills while helping them get acclimated to Canadian customs. I enjoy meeting and talking with people from other countries and love to learn about their cultures while working with them.
I am a certified ESL Coach and Trainer with a TESOL degree. I have been helping others to better their English speaking skills since 2002. In 2013 I volunteered in Spain and helped the locals improve their English oral and syntax techniques through one on one and group discussions and through games and skits. In 2018 I spent time at a school and bookstore in Laos teaching English to children and helping young adults practice their conversational abilities.
I am presently teaching Chinese children English online using interactive materials and props. I have received a Certification to teach Supplementary Phonics courses as well as a Certification for the completion of over twenty workshops which have helped me to perfect my teaching aptitudes.
I currently run two meetup groups where the members practice their English through conversations, reading and discussions of texts, and games. As well, I do substitute teaching at a language school for individual students and for small classes. I also give private lessons to students whom I have met online and through meetup groups.
